Can you believe we are in term four
already?! And the first week has already been action packed!
We have started our new Math Inquiry about
Geometry, Shape, and Space, and have started our new learning in History,
Geography and Science, and we have had a sports carnival on!
In Maths, the students are inquiring into
maps of different varieties and developing their geospatial skills through a
range of collaborative tasks and investigations. They have been uncovering some
very insightful ideas and have demonstrated some excellent problem solving
skills!
The students had a wonderful day and the
Standardised Athletics Carnival where they competed with a large number of
schools from Melbourne and surrounding schools. The students had a lot of fun
and demonstrated the highest level of sportsmanship throughout the day.
We look forward to the rest of the term,
and seeing where students take our various inquiries!
